Shashank Arora first appeared as a supporting character in a Hindi movie titled Myoho in the year 2012. In this movie he played the role of Ranjit. After two year later, in 2014, Shashank played the 1st major role as the titular in Indian neo-noir crime drama film Titli. This film was directed and written by Kanu Behl. It was produced by Aditya Chopra and Dibakar Banerjee.
It was released on 20 may 2014 from Cannes and 30 October 2015 in india. The film Titli collected ₹1.75 crore net in its first week. In the year 2015, Shashank was nominated for many awards such as Stardust Awards as a best acting actor and Star Screen Awards , Zee Cine Awards and Filmfare Awards as best debut actor for the film Titli.
After that Shashank worked with English-language Indian sex comedy film Brahman Naman in 2016. In this movie he played the role of Naman.
