Sanjay Suri started his career as a Model when he moved to New Delhi in 1990. Sanjay modelled for many companies including Nilkamal Furniture, Philishave, Nescafe and Gillette.
After that, he got a new job opportunity from the Bollywood film industry. His first movie is Indian Hindi language musical romance film Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Here he played the supporting role Bhargav. This romantic film directed by Raj Kaushal and written by Patrick Biswas and Shailendra Singh, and produced by Tyger Productions and Shailendra Singh. This Film released on 25 June 1999.
Next year, Sanjay played the role of Raj Oberoi in Indian romantic movie Tera Jadoo Chal Gayaa. This movie is directed by A. Muthu and produced by Vashu Bhagnani and written by Ikram Akhtar, K. V. Shankar and Javed Siddiqui. The film was released on 18 August 2000.
After that, he worked with many films such as Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence (2001), Filhaal…(2002), Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002), Chalo Ishq Ladaaye (2002),Jhankaar Beats(2003), Pinjar (2003) and much more.

The Comedy film Hindi Medium had crossed the ₹3 billion mark worldwide, becoming one of the top 20 highest-grossing Indian films at the time.
