Pets are domesticated animals that live with their owner. Dogs and cats are popular choices among pet owners; other creatures like fish, rabbits, and birds may also make for good companions. Pets offer many advantages for both physical and psychological wellbeing in owners.

PET plastic does not contain or produce Bisphenol A (BPA), dioxins or plasticizers as is popularly believed. PET has been approved by numerous government agencies worldwide as safe for food and beverage applications.
    It’s recyclable

PET, or polyethylene terephthalate plastic, is one of the most popularly recycled plastics used for bottles containing carbonated and still drinks, juices, water, and other products. Furthermore, it can be melted down and formed into various shapes for shaping purposes.

Post-consumer PET can be recycled through curbside programs offering single and dual stream collection as well as material recovery centers, then shipped off to be processed at a PET recycling plant.

Reprocessed PET, commonly referred to as rPET, is the main source of PET used in bottle manufacturing. Switching from virgin resin production to rPET production helps significantly lower greenhouse gas and energy emissions while simultaneously decreasing oil usage. Reprocessing involves methanolysis, hydrolysis and chemical recycling processes which break the polymer down into its constituent monomers for reuse in its final form.
    It’s strong

Pets are powerful animals capable of lifting heavy objects. Not only are they cute and adorable, but their energy can provide a boost too. You can strengthen them even more through exercises; as their strength increases so too does your own. Having one around during hard times like work or school can provide comfort as well as being there when things become complicated; even during difficult breakups.
    It’s flexible

Pets have remarkable bodies; they can bend, twist, stretch and shorten without training! Pets’ unique flexibility make them one of the most agile animals alive – holding positions that would take years of yoga practice for humans!

This flexibility is particularly valuable in schools. Students can use their classroom pets to explore various aspects of animal behavior and life. Math lessons can even become fun challenges by measuring how much food their class pet consumes daily!

PET plastic makes for excellent food packaging material. It can safely interact with beverages without allowing in atmospheric gases that could taint its contents, helping reduce food waste while assuring consumers receive safe, high-quality products.
    It’s lightweight

PET plastic is much lighter than glass or aluminum, enabling more product to be packed into less packaging, thus decreasing shipping fuel usage. Furthermore, its low gas permeability, excellent electrical insulation properties and wide temperature tolerance make it suitable for food, beverage, personal care and cleaning products as well as being popular filament choice for 3D printing; Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands uses PET filament extrusion in student research projects using 3D printers.
